Welcome to the website of
1st Byfleet Scout Group

Our Group is situated in the village of Byfleet in North West Surrey, nestled between the Wey Navigation and the River Wey.

We are a thriving and expanding group, we have a Beaver colony for young people between the ages of 6 and 8 years, a Cub pack for those aged from 8 to 10 ½ years and Two Scout troops for those aged 10 ½ to 15 years old. We are shortly to open an Explorer unit to cater for our older Scouts of 15 and above.

All of our sections are open to both boys and girls and to look after them all we have 10 leaders and numerous helpers.

If you look at our history pages you will discover that we are probably one of the oldest groups in the country, with a long tradition of commitment to the youth in our community – helping our youngsters strive to new heights, experience new challenges and most importantly of all, have fun.
