Thanks to all those who turned out for the Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

(From the “Ode of Remembrance“, originally taken from Laurence Binyon‘s poem “For the Fallen“, which was first published in The Times in September 1914.)

The 11th of November is Remembrance Sunday and all will be attending the service at St Mary’s Church, Byfleet.
We will be meeting outside the village hall at 10.30.
Please wear full uniform with scarf and poppy.
This is an important event in the Scout calendar, and for the cubs, attendance is one of the requirements of the Chief Scout Silver Award.
See you there.
