Expedition Practice Camp at Horsell

Scouts from Leopard and Puma troops completed a one night practice camp at Horsell Common on 31st March. The camp was organised by Rik to help the Scouts prepare for their Expedition Hike during Easter Camp. Following a short walk with kit to the campsite, the Scouts pitched their tents and cooked their dinner on trangias. Then up early, to cook breakfast, break camp and head off for some map reading practice around the Common. The weather was very kind and all the Scouts and Leaders had a great time. Hopefully the Scouts will now be well prepared for their Expedition.
